Liability Insurance
The district provides Commercial, General, and Errors & Omissions liability insurance for all employees while in the performance of official district duties. Automobiles of school employees which are being used for authorized school business have secondary coverage protecting the district, however there is no secondary coverage protecting the employee. The employee must rely on their own automobile policy for coverage. We recommend the employee check with their insurance representative to determine adequate limits of protection.
