Parent Conferences
A friendly relationship between the school staff and the parents is essential to the welfare of the children.
Conferences between a parent and a teacher should be held at a time when both are free of distractions. The teacher, being specialized in child guidance, can render valuable service to receptive parents. A teacher should receive a parent with an attitude which is conducive to the establishment of an atmosphere of friendly cooperation.
It shall be the policy of Amity School District to arrange teacher-parent conferences on a regularly scheduled basis at the discretion of the superintendent and/or the building administrators.
