Open/Closed Campus
Amity High School functions as an open campus for students during the lunch periods. Students may not operate or ride in motorized vehicles during the lunch period without special written permission from the custodial parent or legal guardian and the school administration. Students may not leave the school grounds without permission at other times during the school day.
Elementary and middle school campuses are closed during the school day. The only exceptions are those students who have written permission from the custodial parent or legal guardian and the school administration who go directly to and from their own home during the lunch period.
Students who leave school grounds without authorized permission are considered truant.
