Access to Buildings

To maintain an effectively run school district, the Board will implement an efficient, organized access plan to all district facilities, including procedures to facilitate this policy.

The Board’s objectives for providing controlled access are to:

1. Ensure maximum protection of district property and facilities;
2. Minimize possibilities of theft, vandalism and loss of materials and equipment;
3. Involve staff members in being responsible for district keys received;
4. Eliminate unnecessary costs for replacing lost or misplaced keys;
5. Establish and maintain an efficient organizational plan for securing district property and facilities.
